Michele SmithParticipant
Your post made me laugh. Love the way you and your mum work together. Imagine if you were both procrastinators: maybe you wouldn’t be finished moving yet! 🙂
Michele SmithParticipantHi Sarah,
Welcome to the course! As Paola said, there are a few of us here “reinventing our careers”; including me.
I do a bit of crochet every now and then; usually when it’s cold, so my projects can go over several years because I put it down again when the weather warms up. I will put in a plug for using YouTube to learn. There are heaps of instructional videos on there for beginner crochet-ers, which I have found very useful!
Michele SmithParticipantAll good now; found the answer on Twitter.  I needed to create my own account.  Thanks Stacey Larner. 🙂
Michele SmithParticipantHi Kate,
The wiki is asking for a user name and password. I can’t get in.
Thanks,
Michele
Michele SmithParticipantHi Robynne, nice to meet you, and welcome to the course. Â What a fascinating life you have had to this point! Â I hope you enjoy the course.
Michele SmithParticipantNice to meet you, Shannon. Â I started this year, studying part-time, external as well, and can’t wait to be half way! Â I have kids and a job too, and do feel overloaded / overwhelmed at times when also trying to combine study. I totally remember the short-term memory loss when I had babies, too.
See you online 🙂
Michele SmithParticipantWelcome back to the course, Jill. Â I get to do a fair bit of work with kids as a speech pathologist, and it is really important to connect with them to get the best out of them. I am sure you would have made a good speechie if you had gone down that path.
See you online.
