Yep the idea was that it could either be installed as an app or accessed through the Library website (maybe a nice big visual on the homepage, Mad Maxine beckoning). So easily accessible and not time-restricted.

I think the blog posts should have a preview function? If they do, strip the tags out (top right corner, you can see “visual” and “text” tabs, click on “text” to see the tags) and preview to make sure it looks ok before submitting.
Stacey LarnerModeratorHaha I started my degree in 1997. Uni was my first exposure to using computers. I feel your pain re: languages, I did music and we had to borrow cassettes with snippets of audio on them. It is MUCH easier for both lecturers and students these days.

Definitely agree the reference service is evolving, not dying.
Stacey LarnerModeratorGreat post Paola!
August 10, 2015 at 7:58 pm in reply to: Trends reflection – the rise of virtual reference services #934Stacey LarnerModeratorAbsolutely. I imagine a face to face skype reference service would assist distance learners to access the same kinds of reference interviews on-campus learners benefit from.
Stacey LarnerModeratorI have no shame, I will ask all the questions. 😉
Stacey LarnerModerator*like*
hehehe 😉
Stacey LarnerModeratorI’m knitting a tentacle scarf for my daughter’s birthday (if I can manage to finish it while studying eep!) Welcome from me and echoing Paola ;).
Stacey LarnerModeratorYou know creative success is mostly persistence? 😉 I credit sheer stubbornness for my slowly-growing (baby steps!) writing success (that and a willingness to take criticism and learn). No one is naturally brilliant (ok, most people aren’t), if there is a seed it won’t grow unless you nurture it. And I think everyone has a seed for creative arts.
Stacey LarnerModeratorAwww it always makes me sad that so many people don’t read Australian fiction. We have such a strong spec fic contingent, but it’s always overseas authors that get read.
Stacey LarnerModeratorI was awful at time management until I had children. Now I look back and wonder what on earth I used to do with all my free time. I do more now than I ever did pre-children. I’m also a lot more stressed ;). I’m also a fast reader, it comes in really handy!
Stacey LarnerModeratorOh I like it, so where it’s been, who’s owned it, etc? That would be handy for solving crimes too.
Stacey LarnerModeratorOoh that all sounds very interesting! Are you a video artist primarily?
Stacey LarnerModeratorHi Ishmael! I mean Georgia! 😉
I’m neck deep in the Aussie speculative fiction scene, do you read any spec fic or mostly general/literary?
