Hey Will, I also attended this , found it to be very inspiring and maes me feel good about the path of study I have chosen (technology).  However i didnt think it was a library hosted fumction, or I would not have written it as a Trend Reflection myself.

Hi, Your argument pont brings this issue directly to my heart and as my little sister was always segregated from the main class groups in High School and was placed in the Special Education unit for no reason, she had the capacity to do what all the other student could, but she had dislexyia, so i like your point about I like your approach when you stated ..”While she compared herself to her sister and her peers she was constantly reassured it would come” a co-morbid way for children to gain appropriate literacy skills is an excellent idea.  I was just wondering whether in your argument whether you support this segregation of a normal child into a lower level class when really all they needed was a little bit more attention, or teachers aide assistance?

Sounds like you put some solid effort into this. How did you find it with the older demographic , were there many younger people there?

Hi Deborah, I like the fact your reflection uptakes emerging technologies very strongly and its associated academic abilites espically associated with Ranganathan.

    Hi Tracey,

I have found subject guides to be particularly exemplary for me, as I’m presently doing a Project Unit relating to Privacy and Security with reference and critiquing since the introduction of the recent legislation on Data Retention and Piracy. I have used the subject guides to assist me with finding specific materials and finding targeted academic literature required for my studies. So its an excellent reflection on how you have used it and sharing your experience.

    Hi,

I can see alot of fantastic research has gone into this and I commend you on your hard work. However with libraries having to adapt from paper to digital will this affect the future of academic research?

    Steve
