It’s feedback time! How did this unit work for you?

survey-buttonI know you guys are all busy with assessment but I’d super appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to provide some feedback about the unit by completing the Insight survey.

This is particularly important for this unit because it’s brand new!

All feedback – positive or negative – is important and highly valued. Please be assured that you won’t be wasting effort if you respond to this survey. I care about student experience in the unit and I act on feedback by making changes to the unit and assessment where needed.

Your feedback also plays an important part in my development and reflective practice as a teacher. I take your comments on board and look for ways to improve my teaching.

Ever wondered if anyone looks at your feedback? The answer is yes, and not just your lecturers! Evaluation scores and feedback are reviewed by course coordinators, heads of school and faculty executives. Your responses have visibility and this stuff counts!

The survey is super quick – in fact, it will probably take less time to complete than you’ve just spent reading this post! There are only three questions on the survey, plus some space to make comments.

I love juicy comments (it’s the qualitative researcher in me!) and would really appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to give specific comments so we can address any issues or enhance anything that’s already working well. Feel free to comment on my effectiveness as a teacher, the unit and assessment design, your experience… I’d love to read it all.

To complete the Insight survey, find the email invitation in your QUT inbox. Tip: Search your inbox for words like insight and survey.

The survey closes midnight Monday 16 November 2015.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to help me do better at supporting your – and future students’ – learning.

I have completed the insight survey for all my units, it only takes minutes. My feedback is good because I enjoyed the unit..mostly importantly because I learned referencing in blog post and I could resume blogging again. I also really liked the idea of weekly post, that is making us do sth every week so it’s not heavy at the end. The 2 additional marks is motivating us to complete the weekly activity in the assigned week only. Also it’s not a heavy unit. Overall fantastic unit.
THank you @Kate and @Clare for the fantastic unit. Cheers 🙂

I agree with Peldon. I found this unit very enjoyable and I learned a great deal from the well-thought and paced activities. I found the blog format very effective for writing a concise, yet informative article. I also enjoyed the Twitter chats a lot due to its collaborative nature and being on Twitter provided me with great opportunities to enhance my PLNs. Thank you Kate and Clare for taking us on a great learning journey! I wish in the future we will have more units like this.
