Clare has kindly organised a tour of the State Library of Queensland on Friday 16 October, at 9.30am for approximately two hours. (It pays to have a community manager who works at a fab library!)

The tour will cover

• the stacks
• the preservation labs
• the Asia Pacific Design Library
• the new Business Studio

You’ll also hear from staff who run programs and deliver services in the library.

I understand some of you won’t be able to attend, but this is not core unit content, so you don’t need to be concerned about missing material. There was just some interest across a couple of units so I thought I’d organise a field trip. We’ll run it again next year so you can try to attend then if you miss it this time.
