Study support in Week 7 and planning tools

As we’re into the thick of the semester, I thought it was timely to throw up a post about support and planning.

Study support sessions this week

As you’re probably aware, Alisa Howlett (a recent graduate) is providing drop in study support sessions this semester.

This week, Alisa will be holding a face-to-face drop in session on campus.

She’ll be at Aroma Cafe (bottom of Y Block) from 4.15pm on Tuesday 1 September. Look for an InCite magazine on the table.

These sessions are informal and unstructured. Alisa is available to provide you with general study support and advice relating to time, project and workload management, understanding key concepts for assignments and refer you to other support services if appropriate.

Please note that this is not a class and Alisa is not a tutor, so she can’t answer specific assignment questions. Those kinds of questions are better asked of your lecturer or tutor. Alisa’s role is to help with study support.

Planning

In Monday night’s class, I showed you some planners I’ve created. I’ve had a couple of requests for the files, which you can download here.
