So you guys pointed out that you don’t have an ‘add media’ button in the visual editor for your forums.

There is no easy solution for this. There are no plugins that will fix it.

I found some rough notes on a user forum somewhere on the web on how to hack one of the main functions files to get the button to show up, but no cigar.

I’ve come up with a reasonable workaround, which I’ll write up for you tomorrow and post here on the blog.

Right now I’m off to try and dry out the iPhone, head set, and external hard drive that just got covered in cordial courtesy a ball that was kicked in my lounge room, rebounded off a Geoffrey Proud painting, and took out a glass on the coffee table. Gah!
